“The world is a dangerous place to live, not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it.”
― Albert Einstein
You have to know what you stand for, not just what you stand against.
This is the major problem we have as kenyans. We tend to bend towards things that please our ego at present, so much that we fail to see what our feelings towards the same is about to cost us. Everything that goes in line with our selfish ego will readily receive applause from us. Everything that is not puts us into rage. We are so divided along political and tribal lines that we become enslaved to our own desires to defend our own ideologies however perilous they may be. Its the ego that is bringing us down, and nothing else.
One amazing fact with us kenyans is that we are a very forgetful nation. We tend to change allegiances like inner pants. We tend to value so much what benefits us at present even if that same thing is going to ruin our future. It means we lack a vision for the future.
ICC was created to help those nations whose political regimes only understood primitive ways to power; shedding of innocent blood, displacing the already homeless, starving the hungry and robbing the poor. ICC is here with us to enlighten primitive african political minds that everyone deserves justice. The people making the loudest noise about the ICC, I wish i could reverse time and put ferry them to Rwanda during the Genocide! they will totally understand the depth at which political primitivity can degrade and disregard sanctity of life. They would crawl in their bellies begging the ICC to stay and even be strong.
Kenyans should protest the ICC pullout with the strongest means possible, with their blood and with their lives, because To Pull out of ICC is to Breed a monster we may Have to feed with our on Blood and Lives, not in future, but in a very near future!
Pulling Kenya out of ICC is like pulling a condom off an HIV positive rapist's penis when he was kind enough to put it on before committing rape. It will create an atmosphere of impunity and will set a dangerous trend in the leadership, and sooner or later, Kenyans will start lamenting and wondering who will save them from the pangs of political vipers and the jaws of the political monsters!
